Welcome to A. Cook in the Making!
My name is Ashley Cook (A. Cook, get it? Get it? Ha). I am 30 years old and hail from New Jersey (in the middle, on the Shore). My wonderful husband, H (an omnivore), and I are both lawyers in the greater Boston area. In January 2015, we welcomed our beautiful son, Baby H, into the world.
We live in the MetroWest suburbs with our fur-baby, Stewie.
On July 12, 2014, we said goodbye to our other sweet fur-baby, Marty.
Gone but not forgotten ❤

On this blog you’ll find lots of recipes, fun stories, and tips on prioritizing good eating, even with a hectic work and social schedule. My focus is on preparing delicious, nourishing vegan food in a way that is economical as to both cost and time, and tasty to vegans and non-vegans alike.
In addition to my own original recipes, I frequently post about recipes from cookbooks as well as those I’ve pooled from various blogs and websites over the years. Check out some of my favorite blogs by clicking the links in the toolbar on the right side of the page.
I sincerely hope you enjoy the content you find here. I love reading comments and welcome any questions you may have! See my Contact/Social Media page for more details on how to get in touch with me.

Hello Ashley,
I am Noa Berger, VizEat’s Community Manager (http://bit.ly/Wf1vx3). We connect locals and travellers who’d like to discover a new culture with hosts who welcome them at their home around a meal.
Using VizEat is very easy and straightforward: hosts post their meal (this could also be an aperitif, brunch, wine & cheese, etc.) select a date & price, choose their guests and then share an authentic moment around a home cooked meal!
I love your blog and so would be delighted to discuss a potential partnership. There are numerous mutually beneficial opportunities that we can present to you.
Would you be available for a 10 minute chat so that I can give you more details about the partnership and what we are proposing?
We look forward to welcoming you on board!
Kind regards,
Noa Berger
